Connector
ChatGPT Enterprise seats: who uses them, which ones sleep.
optidome connects to your ChatGPT Enterprise workspace, counts seats, measures real activity per employee and prices what dormant seats cost you.
Connection through the official admin API, read-only: optidome never modifies the configuration of your tools.
What optidome measures
The data collected, as is.
| Data | Detail |
|---|---|
| Workspace seats | Members and assigned seats, synced every day. |
| Activity per employee | Last activity, never-activated seats, inactive seats: the raw material of reassignment decisions. |
| Cost of dormancy | Inactive seats × seat price (your negotiated rate, configurable): the potential saving, priced. |
| HR anonymization | One setting replaces identities with stable pseudonyms in every report. |
Setup
What to prepare.
- Who, on your side
- The owner of the ChatGPT Enterprise workspace.
- Prerequisites
- An Enterprise or Edu plan. Team plans have no admin API: the CSV import takes over.
- What to provide
- The Compliance API key and the Workspace ID.
- Where to get it
- The owner creates the Compliance API key; its scope must be approved by OpenAI (request via support).
OpenAI takes time to approve the Compliance scope: make it the first request you send. During the private beta, setup is assisted.
Frequently asked questions
Before you start.
- We are on ChatGPT Team, not Enterprise.
- Team plans expose no admin API. The license CSV import covers this case: seats, last activity where available, dormancy computed automatically.
- Does optidome read conversations?
- No. optidome only keeps activity: who used their seat, and when. The content of exchanges is neither stored nor shown.
Private beta. Access is by application, and the setup of your first connector is assisted: shared screen, until the first data lands.
